Tooth Watch 2005: MOLARS!

Well, I had pretty much figured that we would be well into Tooth Watch 2006 before I had any news to report. Jack, as you may know, has had the same six teeth now for quite a long while.

Last night he was extra fussy and didn't want to eat, so I happened to look in his mouth (as he was wailing) and discovered the source of our problem. TWO MOLARS coming in on the bottom!! I can't believe it. Sweet little guy still only has his two front teeth on the bottom, so I was watching for more teeth up front. It hadn't occurred to me to check the molars!

And then, this morning as I was putting Orajel on his swollen gums, I discovered that a THIRD MOLAR is coming in up top on the left side. It felt like a little razor blade. I can't believe it.

Just wanted to let ya'll know. We are growing up with a vengeance around here!
