A Grateful Heart and a Broken Camera

Over the past few days, I have received the kindest comments and emails from friends and family as well as a couple of strangers in regards to my last post. I was even stopped in church this morning by more than one person telling me how much they appreciated my words. Wow.

It's still amazing to me that anyone would care to read my rambling thoughts (even though I read approximately 25 people's rambling thoughts on a daily basis, so I guess I do sort-of understand). I think we always find others more interesting than we find ourselves, don't you think?

I sometimes worry that I gush too much over Jack - you know, like a mom who thinks her child is flawless and can Do No Wrong - but then I have a moment with him like I had the other night and I realize that I could never gush enough. All I know to do is just share what my heart is feeling as best as my inadequate words will allow. Having my feelings validated by so many wonderful people is really encouraging for me as a Mom, so I thank each of you who reads my blog and each of you who made my day with your loving words.

So, for your kindness, here are a few more black & white's of the cutie-pie from Storytime the other night. I am going to have to dig back in the archives for my next few posts because I *gasp* broke my camera. Oh, yes I did. Had it in my purse and dropped it right on the kitchen floor. Bonk. I am pretty crushed about it, especially since Fall has been flirting with me quite a lot lately and I so enjoy taking pictures of his arrival every year. Hopefully, I will only have to replace the lens and that will be the end of my camera woes for a while.
