The Hunt For Mister Eggs
While driving to school, Jack kept telling us he was going to look for "Mister Eggs". So, so sweet and funny. He had a blast running through the grass with his classmates looking for the eggs we had scattered around. They each got to hunt for twelve and each one of them did a great job - no pushing, shoving or fussing, as you would think little ones their age might do. They really are a remarkably sweet group of two and three year-olds. Jack is blessed with precious friends! Here he is with Sellers, a darling little girl in his class. I love this photo!
After the hunt, all the parents went back to the classroom for brunch while the kids ate their lunch and listened to Miss Julie read a wonderful story. You could have heard a pin drop while she read to them.
This next photo is proof positive of the fact that kids will do things for others that they just won't do for their parents. Miss Julie has taught Jack to drink from a straw - something Phillip and I could not get him to do! (This is a HUGE deal for Jack, and Miss Julie made it an even bigger deal with her patience and encouragement!)
We have been so incredibly blessed by both Miss Julie and Miss Sarah this year. I can't imagine what in the world we will do without them as a part of our daily lives next year! Jack has thrived while in their loving care and he is just crazy about both of them. What a gift to have your child loved, prayed for and molded by such loving, godly women! Miss Julie and Miss Sarah, we thank God for you every single day. This little goofball and his family love you very much!

We've experienced the love of "Miss Julie" too...She's great!!
Egg hunts are fun, aren't they? More so when it is warm, but that's beside the point. The kids just get so excited and you can't help but feel a little of it too! You can check out Christian's on our blog:)
