A Little Deja Vu

This morning, we were visited by yet another of the neighbohood's furry friends. Some of you may remember the last time this happened. It was back in October (three months and one day ago, to be exact) and Jack was fascinated, calling the sweet little cat "Dog" and barking at it. This time, he saw the cat and started Meow-ing immediately. (His Meow is the cutest...It's this high pitched "Mo! Mo! Mo!") He ran over to the patio door and the two of them just had this staring contest for several minutes.

I detect an authentic gentleness in Jack. He loves animals. Animal videos, books and toys are his favorite by far. And he has done really well with all the real-life animals he has encountered so far, showing no fear; instead, a quiet gentleness towards them. This makes a Momma happy.
