Worth Waiting For

Well, the moment I have been dreaming about for a year has just occurred. And it was just as wonderful as I had hoped it would be.

Jack was stirring after his morning nap, so I went to his room to check on him. When I opened the door, he was standing in his crib, grinning ear to ear. He held out those precious arms to me and said, "Ma Ma! Ma Ma!"

I nearly lost it, but I somehow managed to cross the floor of his room, pick him up and give him the biggest bear hug he's ever had. Wow. Here come the tears again!
