Dr. Jack Duncan, Paleontologist
Jack decided months ago exactly what he wanted to be for Halloween. It was not at all surprising that he wanted to be a Paleontologist. I am pretty sure that this is merely a preview of career choices to come, so I really wanted him to have fun putting together his costume while make it as authentic as possible. I must say, I was extremely pleased with the result. He looked absolutely adorable, if I do say so myself! Even without his rather official looking name tag, there was NO DOUBT what he was supposed to be. (And of course he told EVERYONE he was a Paleontologist before he even said 'Trick-or-Treat!)
He wore varying shades of khaki, a pith helmet and canvas boots. He carried a big bone over his shoulder and brushes in his back pocket. And how about that "dirt" on his face, which was also on his knees and hands? Mommy's eyeshadow really did the trick!
I have lots more full-body photos from our trunk-or-treat that I will share, but I just had to go ahead and get these up. Enjoy!
